    There are hundreds of children in government care who are seeking permanent, loving “forever” homes.
    East Central Alberta Child and Family Services is responsible for finding the best possible “forever” home for
    these children. We not only provide prospective adoptive parent(s) with guidance through the adoption process,
    but we also help adoptive parents support the special needs of their new child or sibling group. To review

   Fostering and Kinship Information

    At any given time, hundreds of Alberta children need foster homes.  Sometimes this is just for a night. 
    Sometimes for longer.  The more foster families we have, the better we are able to place children with
    families that best meet their needs to keep siblings together or to find a foster home in the child’s
    home community.  Foster families provide safe, healthy and stable homes for these children until their
    own families are able to care for them again.
